Nineteen of the Russian's 21 championships have been achieved on hard surfaces
A comeback Medvedev won his maiden title for over two years with success over Corentin Moutet in the competition final.
The Russian, a former top-ranked player, has endured a torrid season, winning just one win at the Grand Slams and experiencing a setback at the US Open.
The player's inconsistency on the professional circuit - and struggles with his serving in specific - resulted in him dropping out of the top ten and eventually splitting with long-time trainer his previous coach.
Presently training with Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently improved in the last few weeks - culminating in a tightly fought competitive victory over Frenchman Moutet.
It is Medvedev's maiden championship following the Rome competition and initial on a hard court after March of 2023.
The win also means he has achieved twenty-one victories at twenty-one various events.
"It's the first time I am participating in a tournament with my two daughters at once, so to secure a trophy is especially meaningful," said ranked player Medvedev.
"This championship is in honour of my second daughter Victoria, because the initial championship I won when my child my daughter was delivered was for her."
Medvedev, the former major winner, had lost his past six finals, including in the German tournament previously this season.
His defensive strategy and recurring emotional displays on the tennis court had prompted some to wonder if his capacity to compete at the elite level was concluded.
Yet the 29-year-old has made changes in the past month, making an effort to come to the net and play positively, reinforced by an enhanced service.
Medvedev came back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the difficult Moutet, taking 4 of the last five exchanges to go ahead.
The pair exchanged break points in the following set before the Frenchman, attempting for his first ATP Tour victory, seized the initiative to create a third set.
He rescued four early opportunities in a tight third set before the champion secured a break to 15 to secure the win.
Fittingly, the winner clinched the win with a point at the net area, with Moutet unable to handle a shot after over two and a half hours.
